North Lake Tahoe

North Lake Tahoe encompasses a number of communities beginning with Tahoe City on the western most side and then traveling east you come to Dollar Point, Carnelian Bay, Agate Bay, Tahoe Vista, and finally Kings Beach. You need to go no further than the popular Concours d’Elegance Wooden Boat Show to discover the heart and soul of the North Shore lifestyle and colorful past.

No matter what the season, there is always endless recreation opportunities to be had in the North Lake Tahoe area. In the winter enjoy world class skiing, along with snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and of course Winterfest the annual winter festival in March. In the summer spend your days boating on Lake Tahoe, go fishing, or even take a guided kayak tour. Mountain bike or hike on the many trails located throughout the North Shore. Some of the local favorites include the playground, farmers market, and concerts at the park, all at Commons Beach.
