Tom Beebe’s 2,000sf Studio near Historic Downtown Truckee is filled with the big and hearty scents of freshly cut wood, and you’ll notice right away the depth of his skills by the projects he is working on. Beebe received his formal training in Marquetry, inlay, veneer, and gilding techniques working side by side with some of the finest craftsmen in the world, including Paul Schurch, David Marks, and Larry Robinson.
Connecting the dots between woodworking and fine art, Tom Beebe’s design-build business encompasses a wide range of woodworking disciplines, including furniture making, cabinetry, finish carpentry, restoration work, and art. From subtle to bold and always exploring, Beebe’s portfolio ranges from traditional to retro to vintage-inspired to contemporary.
A licensed contractor in both California and Nevada, Beebe specializes in creating furniture pieces and built-in’s to match existing interiors or he can create a stylish new environment by updating the trim work and cabinetry. He works independently or as part of a design/build team.
In 2015, Tom is teaching woodworking workshops at both his Truckee Studio and the Martis Camp Folk School. Check www.TruckeeWoodworking.com for the latest details.
